Don't I want a Retrofit Assessment?

Read our guide to choosing the right home energy advice service for you. Retrofit Assessment vs Heat Pump Plan

The short answer is that a retrofit assessment won’t help if you want a heat pump. But it's the right choice if you only want to insulate your home.

What information do I need to provide?

We want to know about your home improvement plans and how a heat pump fits in.

You can tell us about your home, like insulation-levels and how much you pay for heating, but that’s optional.

Can I cancel my Heat Pump Plan?

You can cancel or reschedule your Heat Pump Plan up to 72 hours before the survey is due to take place.

Its non-refundable less than 72 hours before the survey is due to take place. The Plan cannot be returned.

Contact us to reschedule your survey.

Do you charge the same fee for all homes?

We charge a flat fee based on the size of your home.

  1-2 bed: £285
  3-4: £345
  5+: £395

That includes free on-going support.

We may change an additional fee if your home is especially large or complex. It allows us extra time to complete the survey. If that sounds like your home, contact us.

Can you make a Heat Pump Plan for any home?

In most cases, yes. It might not be possible in some homes with unique types of construction or specific historic features. Contact us if you want to check.

What standards does the Heat Pump Plan meet?

The survey is undertaken by trained Domestic Energy Assessors.

The room-by-room heat loss assessment, noise assessment and heat pump performance estimate is undertaken to MCS standards, the recognised standard for heat pumps and installers.
